Review: Joseph Gordon Levitt proves he can act and direct at the same time. Bring back Tony Danza (in a more extreme father role, but most know him from) was too big a move. But the film is about JGL's performance. In front of and behind the camera, choose how to cut a movie together that some might call pornography (though not, his film about addiction). Sex addiction is something that people take very easily, making fun of him most of the time. However, it may be more serious than that. And Don John show that in a very comic way. Where Michael Fassbender went on and played as a drama (at least as good in shame), this movie is lighter in tone most of the time. You still have to sit through a drama, but the comedic moments make it easier to see the movie. If you do not mind sexual theme you have, you can get a powerful film about the downfalls depending |
